About Sun Haven Valley - Caravan Parks in Cornwall
Our holiday caravans and camping site are in a small valley in North Cornwall, just a 10-15 minute woodland walk from the large sandy beach of Mawgan Porth. Surrounded by rolling countryside and organic farmland, we have no large neighbours or heavy traffic and you can enjoy the serenity of the area. At night the loudest noise is often the waves on the beach, or the gentle trickle from the stream running across the bottom of the campsite. Ideal for holidaymakers searching for direct access to the beach without either having it on the doorstep or needing to use a car.
We are confident that the peace of the countryside and our family-run caravan parks will give you a relaxing and restful holiday. Due to the nature of our park and our existing customers, we enforce silence at 10.30pm to ensure that everyone gets a good nights sleep! The countryside noises of wood-pigeons, farm animals and waves on the beach will have the children clamouring to start the day before you know it!
If you are not one for just relaxing and doing very little, why not try one of the local pursuits? King Surf is the local surf school, just a walk down to the beach and you could be learning in no time, or head up to the Go-Kart track at St Eval, with karts available for from as young as 3 it can be enjoyed by the whole family. If you would prefer a more relaxed activity, head on over to Mawgan Porth Pools, a coarse fishing lake adjacent to the back gate. For more ideas see our Activities Page.
At Sun Haven Valley
Whilst we don't have a pub, club or bar, have a children's adventure play area, with a 35ft wooden play-train, swings, towered climbing frame, wendy house, outdoor table tennis table and a sandpit for the youngest guests. There is a small TV and games room, plus limited outdoor wireless internet and several public internet access computers.
For accommodation, choose from our vast range of static caravans with spectacular views and/or luxury fittings, our doubly spacious chalet bungalows or "bring your own" to our streamside camping/touring site. Have a look at the facilities available to all our guests.
Our stunning location in the Cornish Countryside does come with a downside, our electronic signals, including mobiles, televisions and internet are very limited and can often be poor. Please ensure that you read all about them on our Digital Detox page prior to booking.
We are within easy reach of a multitude of supermarkets however we understand that many customers do prefer to shop online. Asda and Sainsbury's deliver to the site, and will take your shopping directly to your caravan/pitch.
