" Hi, I just wanted to send you a note to thank you for a fabulous short break. My husband and I returned home today and I can honestly say that I really didn't want to come home. Your campsite is a little haven of peace and tranqility. We didn't have the best weather over the 4 days that we were with you but we enjoyed just hanging around our tent and relaxing in the peaceful surrounds. You really have thought of everything that the modern camper would want. The free access to freezers to re-freeze my ice packs was genius! I can see that you really care about the park and that you want people to enjoy their stay so you try to provide as much information as possible to avoid any ambiguity or possible disapointment. " Hello helen & Steve; Just returned home from a 5 day break on your campsite. Just wanted to let you know that we had a lovely time and thought the campsite facilities were excellent. We enjoyed the silence after 10:30 gave us a chance to relax after a hard days bodyboarding. Our dog Harry also had a wonderful time and sends his apologies and mine for walking across the grass field (oops!). EMAIL FROM A CUSTOMER - Hello Steve & Helen, It's not often that I take the time to give good feedback to companies, I think that as I'm paying a top prices, I expect top value, so when that's what I get, then it's only what I expected and paid for.
However, in all our camping years at countless sites we have never come across a site as EXCELLENT as Sun Haven .
Before we booked, I had read all about the no noise policy (as many sites profess to have) and took it with a pinch of salt, but it was as if someone had flicked a switch at nightime and turned off all the noise. The silence, apart from the odd Owl and Duck was fantastic.
Although we didn't need the microwave or ovens or the family bathing area, the fact that they were there to be used if needed was brilliant and certainly we have not come across that before.
Then, such as the bbq's, library, toy box, body boards, wetsuits and bench/tables none of which had to be supplied, were an absolute bonus and very thoughtful.
We didn't get around to completing a suggestion sheet, however if we may put this into the box ~ our suggestion would be that you change nothing! We believe Sun Haven to be without a shadow of doubt the best site we have ever stayed at.
While change must of course happen, and Sun Haven is not exempted from that, we look forward to many more stays with yourselves over the next few years and hopefully again, later on this year, if we can.
