Photo Competition

This year we are holding a digital photography competition on the theme of "Holidays at Sunhaven". Your picture can be taken at Sunhaven or just whilst on holiday at Sunhaven but a local photographer will select the "best picture" & the winner will receive a weeks holiday in a holiday caravan.

To enter the the competition simply send your picture to - but please note - by submitting your picture you agree to transfer copyright to Sun HAven Valley Ltd and are agreeing that the photo may be posted onto our website. The pictures must therefore be your own/free of copyright and that any people in them have agreed to their submission & posting.

Rules of the competition

Anyone may enter

Submission of a photograph is a declaration that (i) the photo is the photographers own work & not copied,(ii) that it is free from existing copyright – that (iii) the copyright is transferred to Sun Haven Valley Ltd - (iv) that any people shown have consented to the photo being submitted and (v) that the picture was taken whilst on holiday at Sun Haven Valley.

All photos must be submitted in a digital format with a file size of less than ???????. scanned copies of printed photos are acceptable – ideally a jpeg or tif image

If submitted by email only one photo should be attached to each email which should be sent to “photo@sunhavenvalley.com

To be eligible each photo must be accompanied by your name and address, ideally a telephone number and approximate date of your holiday at Sun Haven

An independent judge will select his “favourite” photograph that encapsulates the theme of “Holiday at Sun Haven Valley” ,This may not necessarily the most professional, the ‘best view’ or the most “classica”l photograph; and the judges decision will be final

The prize is a week, out of high season during 2009, in a caravan or chalet of the winners choice including bed linen & extras. There is no cash alternative and the prize is not transferable. All the standard holiday conditions apply.

Winners will be notified in December 2009 & the winners names will be posted on the website.
